White Mushroom

This mushroom-like creatures are not regular opponents. They will not attack you, instead if you do something for it it will give you something, usually useful items and often rare ones as well. When it shivers, for example it is asking for Fire magic. You should lock onto the mushroom to make sure your spell hits the target. You will earn 1 EXP for every time you help a mushroom you help and on the third time you help the mushroom it will give your your reward before it disappears. It will flee if you use the wrong spell or attack it with your weapon.

Rewards for your Help

The reward will depend on the magoc used, if you help a White Mushroom with the same magic three consecutive times, you will reveive up to three items as well as large MP balls. In order to do this, simply wait until the White Mushroom gestures for the type of magic you last used on it.

If you helped the White Mushroom out with more than one spell, the third spell type cast will select your reward. You will also receive MP balls and up to three items. The likelihood of you receaving a second or third item is a lot less.

Rare Truffle

When a Rare Truffle is attacked it jumps into the air. To gain EXP you have to strike it as many times as you can without letting it fall to the ground, for every hit not including the first you earn 1 EXP. Once you have had a lot for strickes As soon as the Rare Truffle touches the ground it disappears or when you strick it 100 times.
