Two years after the defeat of Sin, Yuna has become a celebrity among the people of Spira.There is now no need for summoners, so Yuna joins Rikku and becomes a sphere hunter.

No longer burdened by her summoning respobsibilites, Yuna is much more carefree, and emerges from her shell as a light-hearted young woman. Her rod and aeons gone, she now uses twins hand guns. In addition, she adopts a very different style, much skimpier than her previous attire.

Rikku is still the same bubbly Al Bhed girl from Final Fantasy X, but she has matured some with age. However, she is still bouncy enough, which fits the lightheated feel of the game.

Although she is no longer Yuna’s official guardian, Rikku still continues to watch over "Yunie".

Like Yuna, Rikku has also acquired a new outfit and hairstyle. Though it may be very skimpy, it doesn’t hinder her at all, since she can still "beat up the baddies".

Paine is a new character that first appears in Final Fantasy X-2. She is a quiet and dark young woman that joins Rikku’s sphere hunting group, The Gullwings, searching for answers about the disappearance of her old sphere hunting group and members.

Paine is certaintly the stoniest of the YRP trio. However, with a little urging from Rikku, she loosenses up a little.

Lenne is a summoner who existed 1000 years before the start of Final Fantasy X, in the great machina city of Zanarkand. She was very dedicated to her duties, and was willing to lay down her life for her people, although her lover, Shuyin (nearly Tidus’s double), was against this.

Shuyin, like Lenne, existed 1000 years before the story’s start. He tried to save his love, Lenne, but failed. Both lovers died, but were seperated. For 1000 years, Shuyin searches for Lenne without success. During his wanderings, he notices that nothing in Spira was getting any better or any worse, and decided to take it upon himself to destroy the world with the Vegnagun.

Leblanc is the leader and founded of the Leblanc Syndicate, a dedicated Sphere Hunting organisation. Leblanc is a outspoken woman with a superior attitude, but has a soft spot for the Meyvn of the Youth League, Nooj. Closely followed by her two body guards, Ormi and Logos, she often tries to out-do Yuna in the search for spheres.

Baralai is a shy and reserved young man, taking on the great responsibilities of being the next Praetor of New Yevon. Taking on his responsibilities very seriously, he is actually a close friend of Nooj and Gippal, even though the three organisations seem, on first impressions, to be against eachother.

Gippal is the young Albhed man who runs the Machina Faction, whose job is primarily to restore ancient and broken machina. A ‘friend’ of Rikku’s from way back, he´s very suave and has a good sense of humour. He was once a part of the Crimson Squad, with Paine, Nooj and Baralai.
