Final Fantasy VIII

Final Fantasy VIII brings us into possibly the most breath-taking adventure in the series to date. We are thrust into the world of Squall Leonhart, a taciturn seventeen year old Cadet at the renound Balamb Garden military Academy. Achieving the revered status of SeeD, he is suddenly launched into a complex series of events which are strongly dictated by the whims of a corrupted sorceress.

Forced to accept responsibility that he never wanted, Squall and a select group of individuals are pushed headlong into a mission where magic and technology co-exist and where sorceresses and mythical beasts are common place.

A chance meeting with a young resistance member turns Squall’s world upside down. He experiences emotions he’s never felt before. Emotions which he had spent his live trying to bury in the depths of his memory.

But now Squall and his friends must rise to the occasion, for the destruction of human kind, of the world as they know it, is imminent. The possessive sorceress will stop at nothing to control all of time. And so the unlikely band of modern warriors must try and stop her, for the results of her achieving Time Compression will be nothing short of a biblical apocalypse.
